石 Tales ~ III part two

('Everyday People' by Prince et al)

The lead van leader stands from the sunroof (jogging tracker on arm over black suit and glasses).  He adjusts the zoom on the glasses seeing Doe swerving toward the bunker ahead from the side, followed by Nemesis running.

Zooms in further.  She looks pissed.

Window panels fold down as seats on all the vans, more of them, the same sit hanging from the sides, loading launchers.

Air flies over ~

Inside they gear for drop orders yelled, equipment checked by partners.  Drop rope prepared.

Lead jet flies over the compound side angling the circumference, the Space-Bird staring back.  Checks ground and guns, the ship being constructed, then Nocturne tagged, at a wall turret, preparing.  Without looking she flips off the pilot, following his arc.

She looks up from the gun, smiles down at Doe's arrival (still playing Pong)
__

The car skids to a sideways stop, nose pointed out to the field at the compound gates.  Nemesis skids to a stop next to it and raises her fist in a rage to punch through.

The cover shield slams down.

Doe - "Please."  He glances to the approaching army, then just looks.

Nemesis - Exhales and lowers.  Stares.  "You're a good man Doe."  She turns to face them.

Doe - "Thank you."

The sunroof opens.

Doe - Calling up. "Love ya babe !  We got this."

Nocturne - "Hee ... me too ..."  She waves to Nemesis' furrowed brow, "Hi Nemesis !"  Freaks and ducks back.

The flock swarms over and and around them, then forming next to Nemesis into the No Queen staring at them.  A bottle forms.  She stares and drinks.

No - "Hi."

Stares ...

Doe - "... hi"

Nemesis - "... hi"

They prepare, the windows slam shut and the engine grinds with the singularity starting ~

(song at 1:25)

Over the swarm, the School Bus ports in, an airship the size of an average yacht, bus orange, top cabin like a bus.  Gun-witches deploy from underneath on brooms firing with rifles.

Students lining the sides joining with deck-mount guns, immediate focus on the jets and keeping them from clear lock, while brooms bombard the ground.

Nocturne smiles, into her Pong view.  Then fade from overlay to the game all that's seen, out from the Teacher playing the other paddle.

He pulls the lever to extend the stop sign, gets up from the driver seat and runs through the back port and off the deck landing in the middle of the bunch.  He fires through an engine block, then through to the axle, spinning it into the nearest while Space Bird rolls through more.
__

Ms Grainne goes through the day's paperwork, a request for a field trip, she looks at the clock, departure an hour ago.  She rolls her eyes and stamps approved.
__

The No Queen launches forward with Nemesis, a little disturbed by their unison while No flutters out into a flock and through the lead van's point shooter, exploding him.  Then through another van's point, through it's sunroof.  Blood shatters the windshield before it the van flips, door flying off with the flock.
__

The teddy bears reconstructing ~
__

A van hits a drop-ship, deployment flailing for chute, a tank hits the first out (air drop friends, these guys are wearing ties).  Nemesis runs beneath and leaps into the field's center, Doe flinging a path through, agent launchers throwing him into shielded skids.

The school bus gunners continually track air while the agent vehicles fan out dropping off agents, the jets circle back, one dodging a van before it's jets get swarmed through by a flock, blowing out.

Battling through the song while the teddy bears continue ~
____

Song over, battle still raging, the sound of a massive explosion filling the field with debris.

('Space Ranger' by Scandal)

The rocket launches slowly through the cloud (Nocturne jumping up and down in the top dome) while the compound slowly drops on heavy gears into the ground.  The last two jets veer from their runs, climbing to match it's rise.

Too fast for the flock or brooms, while one jet dodges a tank's turret thrown, another is tackled by the Space-Bird, sinning and wrestling for control.
________
____

A sphere-like dome at the top, wide over the central body, out as far as the four rockets set around the cylindrical body.  The floor inside the sphere turns to match the ground, or swivels for view, two central consoles.

The consoles would look like eyes inside the dome, the floor like a grimace.  The main cannon hangs beneath the sphere (tongue) and can swivel to fire directly behind, between the rockets.  Rockets run the length with just enough swivel room beneath the dome for the cannon.

Technically the singularity here doesn't extend past the dome (yet), but maintains it's own removed gravitational field inside.  As it takes off here, you can see the wires hanging out, unfinished.

Bathroom's through the floor port, in the main body past a small cookery, but only when the sphere floor lines up in either of two positions.  Zero G storage (floating clothes pile) past that.

The body habitation section takes half hemispheric length of the body, making a horizontal upright proper, arched ceiling, the systems below accessible through the floor.

Landed upright it looks a bit like an elongated gumball machine.
____
________

Inside the dome at the shaking cannon pointed back, Nocturne tracks the jet, taking shots (no targeting yet, drifting shots and barrel as exit arc is met ...)

The jet struggles with track between crossfire, the bus gunners keeping it evasive while Nocturne fires down.  She spots the central truck.
__

The bird throws the jet to the ground, kicking the ejection, then swoops into the cloud, grabbing Daphne and Cassandra, pulling them into the body with the legs, and off through the opposite side.

The massive doors covering the compound slide shut as they get away unseen, a van falling through the last crack in a speeding charge.
__

The central truck destroyed.
__

The other jet gets lock and launches, pilot ejecting before the jet's gunned down by the bus' deck.  Doe sees the launch on the readouts and ejects, the back of the seat rocketed, tracking guns flip over the shoulders with a mask from the headrest.
__

Readout shows the missile spread (VG), guns tracing fire, the gauge dropping fast while he increases the burst to follow.

One by one the missiles fall, Nocturne looks down from the window, control panels with wires out, unfinished.  He falls backward flipping her off smiling before his chute pops, she smiles and flips him back.  He pulls guns dropping down.
__

Going up she dances in the dome cockpit while the battle shrinks away on the ground, the ship breaks atmosphere, and into space.

! The End !
...

~ after credit ~

A flashlight clicks on with the sound of coughing, turns to the sound, camera looking down a barrel sights, extreme static.  The flipped black van, agents pulling out from the wreck.

Agent - "Command.  You getting this ?"

Command - Static in on comm, "We got you.  Situation."

Agent - Turning the camera light, "We made the compound ... no power."

Comm - "We have bad video here.  What do you see ?"

Agent - "Looks like a lot of ... really shiny ..."

Comm - "File says they're antique dealers."

A spark and flash.

Agent - "Hang on.  We have systems ... Oh my God."

The guard-bot's head and spine squiggling and flopping on the ground, "Was once ... a man ..."

Screaming and cursing agents behind, he turns fast, a teddy bear flies into the camera, blacking it out.

Comm - "Field.  Give me input !  Field ! ..."  Fade out comm (Metal Gear Solid death music and scream echo).  " ! Field ... !"
